Woodglen
Woodglen is a multi-building asset encompassing 4 office buildings with ground floor retail. All 4 buildings are part of a contiguous block located between Rockville Pike, Nicholson Lane, Woodglen Drive, and Executive Boulevard. In total there is roughly 183,000 SF of commercial office space and 17,000 SF of retail space. Currently, roughly 95,000 SF of commercial office space, in two of the buildings, has been decommissioned, as part of the entitlement process that JBG completed. The other 2 buildings are roughly 75% leased, with the lead overall tenant being Georgetown University, specifically their medical research group. JBG received approvals from Montgomery County for roughly 700,000 SF of commercial development, including over 400 Apartment units, 70 Condo units, and over 150,000 SF of Office space, all over Retail.
GlenLine Investments, a Fred Schinder partnership, is the managing member for the ownership entity and will spearheading the redevelopment effort.
