One Liberty Center 801 N. Randolph St., Arlington, VA

The Liberty Center development undertaken in partnership with The Shooshan Company as well as Clark Enterprises is comprised of over 2.4 million square feet of world class mixed use development including office, residential and retail.

Liberty Center is anchored by One Liberty Center, one of the first urban office buildings built to provide force protection to the occupants meeting current government standards for leased Department of Defense facilities. One Liberty Center houses many highly technical research agencies.

Delivered in 2005, the building required the existing tenants of the buildings that were demolished to make way for the building to be housed in adjacent swing space while the common parking garage was severed and the new construction undertaken. Many innovative construction techniques were utilized for the one of a kind construction project. For example the weight of the windows required that industrial winches with suction devices had to be fabricated to crane the windows in place. Proudly, the lead tenant in the building, the Office of Naval Research, has been a tenant of Fred Schnider’s since 1969.
